Amanda has been married to her husband Mark for 26 years and they have 4 children together. Their oldest daughter is married and expecting their first grandbaby soon. They are very excited for a new season of being grandparents!
Mark and Amanda went on staff at Bayside Community Church in Bradenton, FL in August 2010 and launched their first satellite campus in February 2011. They are still campus pastors at that location.
Amanda has devoted her life to being a full time wife and mom and has loved it. She also worked part time for almost 9 years for a real estate agent. After going through Julia’s book, she realized she wasn’t passionate about it and ended up quitting. Five months later, God opened the door for her to join the Dream Factory and Co as the Director of Dreamer Experience.

If your life were a quote, what would it be?
My conviction: Live Free
If your life were a song, what would it be?
I like so many songs, it’s hard to pick just one. But one that really speaks to me and tells my story is “Look What You’ve Done” by Tasha Layton. As I went through the Dream I Dare You work, I heard this song and would cry listening to it because it described so well what God had done in me. “He spoke the truth to the lies my heart believed.”
What’s one thing most people wouldn’t know about you?
I am a pastor’s wife and leader in my church and community. I would never say I’ve arrived or that I have it all figured out. But when I was introduced to Julia’s book, I thought I was just checking out the curriculum for a small group. I had no idea what God had in store for me! Even when we are in full time ministry, we have not arrived and have things to deal with.
What’s one of your greatest dreams you’re currently dreaming?
My biggest dream right now is that I will one day own a beachfront home on Anna Maria Island. It’s my happy place- I love it so much. I would love to have a home there for my own family to use for vacation as well as to bless other pastors and their families with vacation.
Why did you join The Dream Factory and Co?
My life was transformed through Julia’s book and study. I want to tell everyone I know and help them experience freedom and healing as well. Joining the Dream Factory has been a dream come true in doing a job I love- something I am so passionate about and have a heart for and helping spread Julia’s message. I love taking care of details so Julia doesn’t have to and also connecting with our awesome dreamers.
For the person out there who feels stuck and unclear about their dreams, what would you tell them?
Don’t ever give up hope! When I started reading Julia’s book, I realized that I had quit dreaming. I worked through a lot and did hard work and got unstuck and started dreaming again. Just take the first step and then don’t stop!
